This is a really interesting combination for all those who want to try something new. The recipe combines well know ingredients in order to get a new recipe with unique taste.
It goes well with homemade bread or as a side dish to mashed potatoes. Prepare this for your family or serve it to your guests for some social gatherings. Everyone will enjoy thin incredible roasted red pepper salad with feta cheese.
10 red bell peppers
100 g. feta cheese
3 cloves of garlic
a little bit sea salt
a little bit ground pepper
a little bit vinegar (optional)
1. Wash well the peppers, then place the red peppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes in a pre-heat oven (200°C) turning the peppers halfway through. You can also use barbecue or grill pan instead of the oven for roasting the peppers.
2.The peppers need to be completely charred (black) on the outside. Oven temperatures vary, so be sure to keep an eye on them since some might cook faster or slower.
3.Remove the pepper from the oven and cover with a pieces of foil, and allow them to sit for about 30 minutes. This will essentially steam the pepper and make the skins much easier to remove.
4. Chop the peppers and the feta cheese into cubes, finely chop the garlic and the parsley and season according to your taste. Stir everything slowly.
